I’m Sigita, the creator of the works you see in this gallery. Born in Lithuania, I graduated with a specialization in Decorative Plastics and Ceramics in 2016. I then spent a year studying at Anadolu University in Turkey, followed by six years in Copenhagen, Denmark, working as a ceramics teacher and crafting miniature porcelain teaware. In both my professional work and creative field, my primary focus was wheelthrowing.
But in 2025, I returned to Lithuania and took the chance to fulfill a long-held desire: working on larger, sculptural objects. I first fell in love with sculpture back in Turkey, seeing raw marble transform into fluid, abstract forms, and I craved to do that myself one day. Clay is softer; it holds nothing back, allowing me to transfer the exact images from my mind directly into the material.
I strive to create forms that connect with people and resonate within their spaces, just as they do with me.
